This past weekend was a pretty low-key weekend for us - just how our family of homebodies like it :) I left work early Friday, picked up C, and headed right home for a nap together. It was absolutely glorious. When he woke up I asked him what he wanted to do and he said he wanted to go to the zoo. So that's exactly what we did. The weather was perfect and the zoo wasn't busy at all. Camden had brought one of his PJ Masks figures and was showing them to all the animals. He'd say 'here look,' hold it out for the animal to see and then would walk away and say 'he's not impressed.' LOL It was absolutely hysterical!! This kid is FUNNY!! After the zoo we headed home and Matt put together C's big boy bed!!! Say what?!?! His crib is a 3 in 1 so we converted it to the toddler bed. Camden shocked us both and absolutely loved it. I honestly wasn't sure he'd take to it and I wasn't sure he was fully ready but clearly he was. So thankful it was an easy transition for him!! On Saturday, I got up at 5:30 to get my 6 mile run in nice and early. I got home and hung out with C while Matt went to his CrossFit class. C's breathing was bad and he was coughing and wheezing so off to the pediatrician we went. He got two nebulizer treatments while there, and we were sent home with steroids and to continue different nebulizer treatments. We're also headed to the allergist to get him tested. So needless to say, the rest of the weekend we just hung out and chilled.
Matt went out Saturday night which means I had time alone!!!! I'm the type of person who needs their alone time and let me tell ya it was awesome. After I put Camden to bed, I cleaned out and organized my closet, took a hot bath, read a book, and indulged in a drink and gelato. It was fabulous! Sunday was another low key day sprinkled with laundry, grocery shopping, food prep, and nap taking <3 And that wraps up our weekend.
