I love seeing other people's baby bumps...but for me personally, I'm not sure how I feel about them. So for today you get a profile picture of the baby from yesterday's ultrasound (22 weeks). Maybe once I get a more legit baby bump I'll be more willing to post a bump picture along with my weekly updates... How far along: 22 weeks 1 day
Baby Size: A papaya (estimated weight from yesterday's ultrasound is 1lb 2oz!) Maternity clothes: Nope, not yet. But pants are definitely SNUG so they, at least, are in my near future. Shirts still fit fine, though, since I lean towards my more flowy/loose tops these days. Stretch marks: None yet...thank goodness! But I'm not holding my breath on this. I'm sure I'll get 'em eventually no matter how much cocoa butter or Burt's Bees Mama Butter I put on my stomach. Sleep: Pretty good. I only wake up to go to the bathroom once and that's not even every night - more like every few nights so I can't complain about that. I do wake up/toss and turn more throughout the night these days which is unusual for me since I'm normally such a heavy, deep sleeper. Gender: got me a soon-to-be momma's boy growing in ma belly! Movement: Every once in a while. More flutters than actual kicks at this point. I describe it as a snake swimming around (and no, I don't love it - sorta freaks me out so I'm definitely ready for actual kicks!) Best moment this week: Even though I couldn't feel it, he had hiccups yesterday during the ultrasound and it was cool to see that. Looking forward to: The weekend...where we'll head to Saratoga to visit my SIL, BIL, and niece & nephew for the weekend!! Food cravings: No real cravings as in 'I gotta have it and gotta have it NOW' but I do want to eat as much fresh fruit as possible, especially grapes and strawberries. Oh, and Captain Crunch cereal - yum!! Anything making you queasy or sick: Only when I eat too much. I graze throughout the day which helps with this. No more big meals for me!! Labor Signs: Nope, as it should be at this point. What I miss: Not gonna lie...wine, sushi, and things fitting properly #pregnantgirlproblems Symptoms: Recently I've been woken up during the night with my calves cramping up. And lots of pressure in the belly area due to stretching/getting bigger. Nursery: It's painted and we bought a new rug. That's about it for right now. Belly Button in or out? In and still have my belly button ring in. Wedding rings on or off? On. Workouts: Still working out 5-6 times a week. That *usually* includes (2) three mile runs and (2) six mile runs as well as (2) days of mixed cardio for an hour (really lovin' the elliptical lately and walking on the treadmill.) I also still lift light weights to help keep my lower and upper body as conditioned and toned as possible during this time (though I don't think it's really working ha-ha!) Things that suck: The calf cramps, the pressure I feel, and peeing every 20 minutes sucks - not gonna lie. Oh, and as I mentioned above...clothes not fitting properly. I'm definitely in that in-between stage and I ain't likin' it. Things that don't suck: Not getting home until 9 the other night and therefore, devouring 2 bowls of Captain Crunch cereal for dinner and not feeling the least bit guilty about it! Oh, and the fact that 'the girls' are bigger - definitely a big fan of that!!! 2 bowlsEating

Congratulations!!! I was the same way. I didn't want many baby bump pictures posted until I really looked very pregnant. Tim was good about reminding me to take the pictures so we could put them in a photo album just for us to look back on later on in life. I must say I am glad we did it!! Hope the next months go by easy and fast for you. :) Congrats again!

Eat bananas! That should help with the calf cramps. It is usually means you need some extra potassium. So happy for you and Matt! :-)
